Man charged in assault A 3 1 -year-old Arthur man faces charges following a violent altercation at a Guelph Line residence. A 45-year-old man, thc suspect's broth- er, was stuck with a large piece of wood at his home over the weekend, Halton Regional Police said. A car also drove at the victim and a 17- year-old girl, who was dragged a short dis- tance. No one was seriously hurt. The suspect faces charges of dangerous; driving, assault with a weapon and utter- ing threats. The purpose of the meeting is to ensure that sufficient information is made available to enable the public to understand generaliy the education development charge proposais and to solicit public input. Any person who attends the meetsng may make a representation 10 the Boards in respect of the proposed education development charges. The education deveiopment charge background study required under section 257.61 of the Act (inciuding proposed by-law) and setting out each Board's education development charge proposais, will bc available on or after Juiy 12, 1999 at 2050 Guelph Line, Buriington or 802 Drury Lane, Burlington, during office hours.
