BRIGHT — WALLACE

In Lewiston First Presbyterian Church, Miss Emily Gilbert Wallace of Niagara Falls, N.Y., became the wife of Mr. William Thomas Bright, son of Mrs. Bright and the late Mr. Thomas William Bright of Queenston.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Helen S. Walker of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mr. William C. Wallace of San Francisco.

Rev. Paul L. Denise performed the ceremony in which the bride's brother-in-law, Mr. Richard Rutt, gave her in marriage.

She wore a Bianchi gown of ivory peau-de-soie and alencon lace re-embroidered with seed pearls. Styled on a princess line, it was fashioned with a scooped neckline and elbow length sleeves. The bell-skirt featured a carriage back and lace detailing at the hem-line was repeated on the court train. A small princess crown of seed pearls held her tiered veil of silk illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of white baby orchids, stephanotis and ivy.

Matron of honor Mrs. Charles Irwin, New London, Conn., bridesmaid Mrs. Richard Rutt of Wilson, N.Y., and junior bridesmaid Miss Katherine Irwin of New London, wore sheath dresses of jade green chiffon over taffeta. Their picture hats were in a matching tone and they carried bouquets of pink roses arranged with ivy.

Mr. John Bright of Queenston was groomsman. Ushers were Lt.-Cmdr. Charles Irwin and Mr. Thomas Urban of Brussels, Belgium.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Bright will live in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
