The Rangers lost their opening game, 2-1 to the Ted Reeve Thunder, before posting wins over the West Ferris Trappers (9-0), London Jr. Knights (2-1) and Clarington Toros (5-2). Oakville was eliminated from title contention, however, with a 4-2 loss to Clarington in the semis. The Toros went on to win the OHF title, defeating London in the final. Chris Elliott paced the Rangers in the tournament with four goals. Sam Roy recorded a hat trick against West Ferris, and Ethan Froats also scored three goals in the tournament. Also scoring goals for Oakville at the competition were Holden Doggett (two), Alex Pain, David Gunner, Will McAllister, Paul Costin, Evan McHenry and Aidan Child. Sam Gaskin posted two wins in net and Davis Boulding recorded the Rangers' other victory. Atom AA Rangers The atom AA and atom AAA Rangers also reached the semifinals of their respective OHF tournaments. Oakville posted a record of 2-2-1 at the AA tournament in Scarborough. The Rangers tied West Ferris 4-4, defeated the Mississauga Braves 4-2, fell 3-2 to the host West Hill Golden Hawks and hammered the London Jr. Knights 7-1 in round-robin play, then fell 4-3 to London in the semis. Jamie Langill had six goals in the tournament for the Rangers and enjoyed a four-point outing (two goals, two assists) in the first matchup with London. Christopher Parsons also had two goals and two assists in one game, accomplishing the feat against Mississauga, and finished the tournament with three goals. Riley Horton (two), Owen Sage, James Passafiume, Adam Clark, Ryan Brown, Liam Mahoney, Adam Zedor, Ryan Jeffrey and Christian Pelley also scored goals for the Rangers.
