The red tulip is the symbol of Parkinson's disease. photos by Graham Paine ­ Oakville Beaver (Follow on Twitter @halton_photog) Holy Trinity student fashion show Auditions for Fame: The Musical helps suicide prevention coalition The students of Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School are hosting their Second Annual Fashion Show. This year's show will fundraise money for the Halton Suicide Prevention Coalition. The fashion show will be at the school, 2420 Sixth Line, Thursday (April 18) at 7 p.m. The students will showcase the fashions of local stores, such as Opus, Titika, Johnathan Quinn, Lole, Boa, Jean Machine, By Consignment, Roots, and a clothing line created by previous Holy Trinity students called Empty Culture. A speaker from the suicide prevention coalition will make a presentation at the event as well. Tickets cost $10 and will be available at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Oakville's Triple Threat Theatre has been helping to nurture budding thespians in acting, dancing and singing. Now, the school is putting on a musical and is looking for performers. The school, run by Oakville actor Nathan McLeod (YTV's Life with Boys) is holding auditions for Fame: The Musical. Audition days are over three Sundays, on April 18, May 19 and June 30. A performer auditioning will be asked to attend only one of the three casting calls. The auditions are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with 30 minutes allotted per audition group. Students will be asked to dress in appropriate dance clothing and be warmed up vocally prior to the audition.
