Ford's Fusion Hybrid won the inaugural Canadian Green Car of the year award. Ford also took up two of the five finalists spots for the award. The other finalist was the C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid. The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) presented the award today (Friday) at the Green Living Show at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto's Exhibition Place. "To be recognized for our efforts to make electrified vehicles more affordable and more available to consumers is great and we're very pleased that the industry has taken notice," said Steve Ross, Ford Canada's product marketing manager for sustainability and electrification. Ford is heavily promoting its electrified vehicles and had five available to visitors at the Green Living Show, including the two award nominees, along with the C-Max Hybrid, Fusion Energi (plug-in hybrid) and Focus Electric (pure electric).
