INSPECTION v Wurster aces h is fly ing scholarship examination Cadet Flight Sergeant Glenn Wurster scored the highest marks in the province in obtaininig a Royal Canadian Air Cadets flying scholarship this year. The air cadet is a member of the Milton 820 Blue Thunder Squadron and managed a perfect 100 per cent on the entrance exam. Also qualifying for a powered flight scbolarship was Cadet Sergeant Willis Nigh, while Cadet Sergeant Maciej Hatta and Cadet Corporal David Brookes won gliding scholarsbips. Other awards were presented during the recent annual inspection at Tonelli Sports Centre; Glenn Wurster was the Air Cadet of the Year, Cadet Sergeant Jason Klip won the Jim Rendies Award for initiative, Cadet Leading Aircraftsman Paoln Dal Bello took the Chris Hadfield Award for Academics, Cadet Stephanie McIver won the Michael Garrioch Award as cadet who bas most benefitted from the experience, Cadet Leading Aircraftsmari David Ellis was Most lmproved Bandsman, Cadet Leading Aircraftsman Phillip Kelley was Best Dressed Cadet and Cadet David Uhrig was Outstanding First Year Cadet. Graduation certificates for successful completion of the prograni went to Cadet Warrant Officer Jason Suter and Cadet Flight Sergeant Wurster.
