Next year, with a full year of collection available, the fee changes will raise an estimated $136,363. In both cases the extra user fées should make for equivalent reductions in property tax, according to Councillor Wally Hunter. However, with budget pressures it is flot likely to happen, he said. Additionally for 1998, the Town still has to, contend with a provincial demnand that they reduce their budget spending by $330,000. According to Mr. Hunter, who chairs the administra- tion and planning committee, there are somne mistakes in provin- cial accounting which could double or even triple that level of forced savings.
