It began after a Halton Regional Police officer followed a jeep that hari sped off quickly from the intersection of Ontario Street and Broadway Avenue shortly after 3:30 a.m. The officer tried to pull over the vebicle on James Snow Parkway, but the driver efused ami drove onto Hwy. 401, said Det. Sgt. Jackie Gordon. The pursuit continued at high speeds off the highway. south on Trafalgar Road, east on Derry Road, south on Winston Churchill and int a northwest Peel residential area. At this point, Peel Regional Police joined in the pursuit, Det. Sgt. Gordon said.
