The Region of Halton is looking for volunteers with interest and expertise in environmen- tai matters, to help provide advice on matters affecting Halton's natural environment, with a focus on Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs). This is an opportunity to be appointed as a member of the Ecological and Environmental Advisory Committee (EEAC), a dedicated grou.p of individuals who meet monthly to review and comment on environmental policies, studies, development applications and planning matters affecting ESAs. The Committee also undertakes research and public edu- cation projects. Input provided by EEAC has a direct impact on Official Plan policies. infrastructure projects and development approvals. We need your technical expertise or specialized skill in an environmental discipline, or combined environmental interest and experience in engineering, public policy, marketing or education. We are looking for people who can bring crcativity, integrity, commitment, and environmental expertise to the Advisory Committee.
