A lot of stud- ents feel discouraged about their first job search. It can be a very stressful experience. Commonly asked questions by students at the Huinan Resource Centre for Students are... "Do I need a resumne?" Yes, a resume can be a useful tool to any employer. The resume sets you up, and shows the employer your strengths. A cover letter is also a good thmg to include with your resume. The cover letter introduces yourself to the potential employer. It tells the reader why you are apply- ing for that job. "Do I need to prepare for an interview?" Yes! Find out what the dress code is and dress a ppro- priately. Make sure you bring a copy of your resume with you, as well as a list of your references. It is a good idea to bring a pad of paper and a pen, i case you need to write anything down. You don't want to look unprepared! Frogs are in fuli voice at Crawford Lake Visit Crawford Lake Conservation Area during the "Season of Many Frogs Peeping" and discover more than a beauti- fui and fascinating Niagara Escarpment park. The spring program takes place on weekends and holidaya until June 22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information booklets are available to assist with wildflower identification and to leamn some fascinating characteristics and traditional uses of these spring gems. The reconstructed Iroquoian village is a place of discovery anytime of the year but especially during the spring. This ia the lime for planting "The Three Sisters" garden. The "sisters" include com, beans and squash, which were vital to the agricultural people of the longhouse. Informative video presentations and fun crafts for kids will also be offered during the Season of Many Frogs Peeping. The Conservation Centre is open on weekends and holidays so that visitors can enjoy the many displays and exhibits, view a slideshow, browse in the unique gifi shop or enjoy a tasty snack in the cafe. AIl-terrain wheelchairs are also avail- able for on-site use and can be reserved at no charge.
