In the forenoon there was a game of b ase ball between t he Haydon and T yron e school clubs i n which t he forrner was successful by a score of 13 to 9, T his was follo wed by another base ball match between t he mar ried an d single men, toe single men being winners. In tlrn afternoon there was a delay caused by the H aydon foot ball t eam arriving late.
