She left us to attend a joyous reunion with her beloved husband Cyril, son David, granddaughter Elizabeth, and many other family members and dear friends. Mom was always happiest when our home was full of activity, and ensured that all who visited were welcomed as part of the family with a hug and a "Hello Dear", and plenty to eat! Mom held very precious her family and friends, she loved life, loved to laugh, and her smile lit up every room she entered. Her motto of "Don't ever lose your sense of humour" will be remembered and carried on by her children Sandra Thornett (Bob), Bill Dunstan (Susana Garrido), Shelley May (boyfriend Doug Buchan), and Gordon Dunstan (Jan); and her grandchildren Laura Williamson (Scott), Charlene Arbour (Mark), David, Matthew, Molly, Dylan, Tyler, Nicole, Keely, Samantha, Kristen Hare (Jordan), Timothy, and Carly; greatgrandchildren Brooke and Sadie; her sister Edythe Dudley, her walking buddy Christina Marsh, and many more family and friends. We will be forever grateful to those special staff members at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home who went out of their way to lovingly care for mom the past year, and to the incredible staff at Sunrise of Burlington who took such special care of mom and made her a part of their family for the previous three years. Cremation has taken place, with a private family service to take place at a later date. Mom loved animals so in lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON 905-632-3333). Mom... you will forever remain in our hearts, loved and never ever forgotten. www.smithsfh.com LOIACONO, Anna (1922-2013) It is with deep regret and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Loiacono (née Scarangella).
