The Halton District School Board is looking for community feedback on the staff-created options for future French as a Second Language (FSL) programming in its elementary schools. The Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children is hosting its second annual memorial hour in town, called the Memorial Lantern Night. The event is put on in collaboration with Remember our Love. The gathering is a peaceful and quiet hour by the lake at Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Rd. E., where people can take a moment to remember and reflect. The event is open to anyone.
