Sheridan Public School to hold literacy event on PD Day Looking for something to do with your children this upcoming PD Day on Friday, Feb. 1? Well, Sheridan Public School has a solution for you. Sheridan's School Council is hosting a free PD Day Community Literacy Event at a Chapters bookstore just outside of Oakville. Activities run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event takes place Friday (Feb. 1), but it also celebrates Literacy Day, which took place on Sunday, Jan. 27. A number of local artists will be present at the event to help lead the creative activities for children.
