Shae Invidiata, well known for her fight against human trafficking, will be the keynote speaker at the International Women's Day Dinner Party. The local event, which marks International Women's Day, is hosted by the Women of Halton Action Movement (WHAM) and Zonta of Oakville. Invidiata, the founder of free-them, will be the speaker at the March 7 event to be held at the Oakville Conference Centre. Proceeds from the gala will be split between the Sexual Abuse and Violence Intervention Services of Halton (SAVIS) and the Canadians in Shae speaking at Dinner Party Liz and Frank Support of Afghan Women (CSAW).
