Dear readers, This edition of the annual Oakville Beaver A Child's Christmas, features the writing and drawing of students from Holy Family Catholic School in Oakville. The Grades 2 and 3 students in Mrs. Lee's class share what Christmas means to them and the Christmas themed art was created by students in Ms. D's Grade 1 class. We appreciate the contributions of the students and hope that you will enjoy this Christmas tradition. Christmas makes me remember that Jesus died on the cross for us. He also was nice to people that were sick. My mom makes hot chocolate. We make snow people and snow forts together. Christmas is so much fun. By Sydney -Grade 2 Christmas means to me spending time with family and putting up Christmas décor, and listening to Christmas music. My family always has a big dinner for Christmas. After dinner we play a board game called Clue. We also play checkers. Then we exchange gifts. Then I play lots of Christmas songs on the piano. We always eat pie.
