The club was astounded at the large turnout of guests, so much 50 that the begin- ning of the meeting was delayed while more dinner places were set up. As always, Cedricks came to the rescue and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. The club was honoured to have such an excellent audience for the four speakers of the evening. Marguerite Kulik gave a very interesting and timely reading on the subject of 2Y _~ Sn ecology written by Jacques Cousteau. The second speaker also a new member, Merle Amodeo entertained the group with one of Stephen Leacocks huniourous, ongue in cheek articles. Another new member Lee Irwin gave her self introduc- tion speech which included an inspirational message for anyone who has ever conquered a major obstacle in their lives.
