By Kathy Yanchus SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER Ian Anderson House offers a peaceful end 3 · Friday, November 2, 2012 OAKVILLE BEAVER · www.insideHALTON.com Margaret Anderson has never veered from her vision -- compassionate, professional care of the dying. In the 15 years since Ian Anderson House (IAH) opened its doors -- Ontario's first in-resident cancer hospice -- that original core philosophy has been upheld by its founder and reflected by her staff. She is the face of the hospice, the modest home on a serene property along Winston Churchill Boulevard named for her late husband Ian, where close to 1,500 people have spent their final days.
