At a reoent meeting, the board of governors of the independent school in Wbitby appointed Briggs the new head of the school, effective Aug. 1., Kàamcke is retiring thi. summer after 17 years as principal. Briggs comes to Trafalgar from Ridley College, St. Catharines where has ha. worked as teacher, administrative assistant, director ofactivities, head of the geography department, housemaster, assistant housemaster and guidanoe counsellor at various times in his 21 years there. The Henry boys' field lacrosse team competed in the annual Kenner tournament recently, and with their fine teamwork, and supezior play, they returned home as senior division champions. The team aise won 15-6 ia league game againat, Dwyer Saints. Leading the way for Hawks was Bud Wye with four goals, AJ. Shannon and Zac Aitken, three goals each, Phil Greenan and Derek Suddons two each and Ryan Unwin as Hawks remain undefeated. The Hawks junior boysF' rugby team won 31-5 over Pickening. The Henry girls lacrose team, at a toumnament in Belleville, won their firet game against Sinclair and tied Donevan. The Hawks girls rugby.team kept their unbeaten string alive with a recent 37-0 win over Pine Ridge.
