She was 94. Daughter of the late James William' Bruce and Luella Sanders, she was born in Stouffville, Ont, on Aug. 25, 1901. Mrs. Creighton taught in a small Ontario school for two years before graduating from the University of Toronto and completing her studios at the Sorbonne, ini Paris, France. On June 23, 1926 she was married tai Donald Grant Creighton, professor of history at the University of Toronto. Her husband was considered one of Canada's foremost historians, specializixig ini the Confederation era. Ho was particularly known for bis two-volume biography of Canada's first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald, published in the 19509. In 1962 the Creightons movod to Brooklin from Toronto. Donald died on Dec. 19, 1979. Besides assisting her husband with bis research and writing, Mrs. Creighton wrote and published a number of short stories and children's books. Her first novel High Bight Buggy Wheele, was published in 1951.
