In the first game against Willowdale Epiphany, which was played in heavy rain, Whitby took an . early lead on goals by Mike Hadden and Marcus Pavne. In the second haif Epiphany fought back and tied the gaine. With 20 minutes left Payne scored his second goal to give Whitby a3-2 win.
