On June 8, Whitby defeated Port Hope 10-7 at Peel Park. Ryan Mitchell and Luke Harden paced a 13-bit attack with three bits each while Joel Prues, John Barr and Mike Dunford each had two. Wayne Wickens, although hitless, stili knocked in three runs on groundbuts. David Beckford, Banr, Mitchell and Prues combined for the victory, giving Up seven runs on only four bits.
