'Pick of the Crop' is the theme of this year's event, says orraizing committee chair Sharon MacRinon. Thus fer, entrants will include seven bande, a majortt group and about 20 float. Cassic-cars, old firetrucks and old farm machinery will be aznong entrants. From aznong float entries, judges will select nine winners --three for commercial float entries and six for non-commercial winners. Group 74s Liz Mitchell, Barb Cot- ton and Valerie Mitchell are super- vising the float entries. Prizes are $50 and a rosette. And a big part of the parade is the fany dress competition, for both chu den and adulte. There are five categories: fancy dress frolic, beet decorated manual transport and rider, best decorated batte,,opera eh icles and rider, best dcoratd bike and rider, and best decorated pet and han dier.
