At 3:25 a.m., a lone maie entered the. Beckers store at 50 Taunton Rd. E. The. suspect gained entry by kicking in the lower portion of the glass front door and crawling through. The suspect then removed a small quantity of money from the cash register and a cou pie packages of cigarettes. The break and enter was noticed by a man dropping off papers at 5:50 a.m. The. suspect was caught on a security camera and is described as maie, white, age 25 to 30, five feet eight inches to five feet 10 inches, 160 pounds, with a dark moustache and goatee and dark hair just below the shoulder. He was wearing a iight-coloured bail cap worn backwards, a black short-sleeved T-shirt,' blue jeans and white running shoes. He wore a beit pouch in which h e had the stoien money. A re-enactment of the crime, plus actuai footage, will be shown on CITY-TV (channei 57, câble 7) on Thursday, April 7 dungthe 6 and 10 p.m. news.
