Anderson is celebrating an Ethnocultural Fiesta Week. Througbout tis entire week, tbe Ethnocultural Committe. bas organized a varîety of events ta display the diversity of cultures at Aderson and in tbe community. On Monday, there was a dramatic presentation in the drama roomn produced by a group of students. Ethnic Dress Day taok place on Thesday-. Students were asked to, wear aparel froin different cultures. So, on the Tuesday before the March break, students who had paid their admission fee boarded the buses during third period and were carted off to Luther Vipond Memorial Arena in Brooklin. The students' teain was ready to beat the teachers, but they feit that the teachers were at a disadvantage, (the age thing you know, just kidding). So some former meïnbers of the school hockey toani came back to, help the. teachers out a bit. Now, Mdlike to be able totel you that the students beat the teachers easily, but that wouldn't b. the truth. It was a good, gaine, thougth, and it kept spectators on the edge of their meats. The students kept the teachers on their toes but, unfortunately, victory eluided tbem and went to the teachers. There were soin. amazing shots on goal, and soin pretty, incredible saves on behaif of bathË goalies. The. final score was 6-3 in favour of the teachers.
