Whitby scored firat on a nice effort by Jennifer Cotton on a three-way passing play with Erin Carrol ad Natasha Carter. Ajax replied quickly and only an unassisted galfrein Cotton gave Whitby the lead at half timo. The tearna traded goals in the first five minutes of the second haîf and the belles clung te a 3-2 lead before Whitby's superior skating took over and carried thorn te, a 9-2 win.
