During the last three years, Mercer bas created a powerful series of peintings, primerily in Trio's show iN Whtby The Alistair Brown Trio will perform at a Vital Spark Folk Club gathering in Whitby on Saturd-ay night, Oct. 16. Brown bas appeared, solo or witb the Friends of Fiddler's Green at many clubs and festi- vals. With Brown are Roger Houghten, active in Canaclan music for more than 20 years, and Cherie Wbalen, wbo contri- butes a lyricaI fiddle, keyboard accompamnient and vocale.
