As a York student, he was second at the Nationals competition. The Whitby Iroquois under-iS tier 1 soccer team, coached by Josef Neubauer, won the Etobioke Youth Soccer Tournament on the weekend. In the first round cf play, Whitby defeated Wexford 2-1 on goals by Aaron Cross and Michael Cross. The teani defeated Etobiccke 3-0 on two goals by Cross and one by Dave Farquharson. In the final preliminary round game, they defeated Pickering 1-0 on a strong performance and goal by Clifton Coppolino.
