Thompson pitched seven strikeouts and Shawn Turner, two strikeouts. The consolation final was a 7-0 wîn for Whitby, with the full game pitched, by Graham. Hlitters were Mike Salcata and Foret, one single apiece; Triantifilour, two singles and two RBIs; and Thompson, a single and an RBI. July 1 was the next regular acheduled game and was a 15-4 win for Witby over Lindsay. A no-itter was pitched by Sakata with six innings and five strikeouts.
