Video review By Mîke Rostek NEW THIS WEEK TRESPASS (MCA Universal): A gritty action thriller in which director Walter Hill (48 Hours) puts two unsuspecting ktreasure hunters and a violent street gang in the wrong place at the wrong time. Violent and intense, worth seeing. SDISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN (Touchstone) Eddie .,rMurphy succeeds in his latest attempt at fun wit out fouI 7'language. This tongue-in-cheok comedy is almost the «« Murphy of 48 Hours and Trading Places. Check it out. k THE GUN IN BETTY-LOU'S HANDBAG Çrouchstone>: This old-fashioned comedy stars Penelope Ann Miller as SBetty Lou Perkins, an attention-starved librarian who frames Sherself for a motel murder. In doing so, she not only W 4becomes a media sensation but has a great time while she's Sat it. An unofficial remake of the 1942 Roxie Hart with SGinger Rogers, this is a good film that has had little «« exposure. Surprise of the week. k SIIOOTFIGHTER (Columbia-Tristar): A brutal action- packed martial arts movie starring Bolo Yeung (Enter the f Dragon) as the unconquered king of shootfighting, a martial ~ k art that has been banned throughout the world. I recentîy Smet 6010 Yeung on the set of his latest but uncompîeted 7'movie and was amazed by the shape he is in. At 50 years «« old ho doesn't look a day over 35. Chop and kick fans k «* should love this. «« CITIZEN COHN (HB113): A gripping drama starring James Woods as Roy Cohn, a power- hungry, ruthless attorney, k able to make or destroy the strongest men in America for the f un of it. Joe McCarthy's right-hand man and J. Edgar . Hoover's friend, he fought the Kennedys' suport of civil k rights and tried to undermine the leadership of Martin Lut her < <k King. Loved by some, despised by many more. < «« WRANGLER (Homdale>: A saga pitting one woman < k(Tushka Bergen) and two men (Jeff Fahey and Steven SVidler) against the rugged frontier of an untamed continent in order to save their ranch f rom creditors and a ruthless < ,rneighbour.
