In gaine three on March 6, the Whitby squad defeated Quinte 4-0 with an excellent team effort at bath ends of the rink. The Whitby teain went undefeated, winning 10-2 over Ajax, 8-4 over Lambeth, 9-1 over Forest, and capped off the tournainent by shutting out Forest 8-0 in the final. The Whitby girls' success was the resuit of a strong teamn effort by ail members, each Whitby's major atem AAA hockey team, sponsored by Elscint Canada, returned home from Sarnia on the weekend with a split in games in the best-of- five OMHA semi-finals.
