A collision between a lire truck and car at Thickson Rd. and Nichol Ave. Sunday night seri- ously injured a Whitby womani. The fire truck, from the Thick- son station, was responding te a fire which caused about $20 000 damage te Whitby Medal PÏ- ducts. The lire truck struck a Honda Civic driven by Dorothy Draper, 51, of Vanessa-lace in Whitby. She was rushed to Oshawa General Hospital and- later transferred te St. Michaels in Toronto, where she's in serieus but stable condition. Her son, Tim, White,, 17 a passenger in the'car, was taken t Ohawa General Hospital, treated and released. No one on the lire truck was injured and the truck was net seriouslydaznaged.
