Eight minutes into the first half West Rouge opened the scoring but Whitby earned the equalizer (a goal by Adrian Haight) five minutes later before being unlucky to fali behind again just before haîf-time. The second half saw Whitby get their reward. for a hard-working aIl-round- team performance when Robert Richards tied the score afler 34 minutes. Paul Gruchala then shot Whitby into the lead before Robbie Reid added an insurance goal four minutes from time.
