Paul DaSilva scored a first- q uarter- touchdown and kicked the convert, and then led the defence that completely shut down Moira in the quarter-final contest last week. Henry is now one of the 'final four' in the hunt for the Metro Bowl championhip and will face Etobicoke Richview on Thursday afternoon this week at Birch- e mount. The Winner will go on- to the final next Wednesday, 4 p.m., at Skydome. DaSilva made tackles that pre- vented Moira 'runs into the Henry end zone. A nine-yard, bad-angle, field goal attempt by Moira went wide, and accounted for the only point they would gain. The coach of Whitby's peewee and bantain rep lacrosse teams during the p ast year, Bishop received the hionour at the asso- cîation's 125th annual conven- tion Nov. 8-9. The award, also known as the 'Mr. Lacrosse Award,' is given to a person acknowledged te be contributing the most te lacrosse. Bishop received the samne honour m 1969. Another Whitby coach, Ian Wailes, won the Coach of the DYSSA titie for ACV team Sound defence and a well- balanoed offence heiped Ander- son CVI win the the Durham- York (DYSSA) chaznpionship in midget boys' AAA voileyball recentiy. Coac Alex Hamilton said a well-balanced offence of spikes and tips and consistent servring accounted for bis team's 15-8 and 154 wins in the DYSSA final over Dunharton. The Hawks advanced after winning the Durham-York Secondary Schoola Association (DYSSA) title by defeating the Pickern g oans by scores of 15-9, 5-15i and 15-12., The Hawks were losing 8-0 at one point in the final game before rebounding Win 15-12.
