Repa' work aimed at correct- ing eleýtrical deficiencies at the Subway Mobile Home Court has' been undertaken by one of the park's xortgage holders. The extent of repairs has satis- fied Ontario Hydro te, the p oint of not proceeding, at this time, with a threat tedisconnect .power te the site because of dangerous wiring conditions. Frank 'Young of Hydro's Whtyoffice said Hydro officiaIs are p1eased with the repairâ done te date. Young said electricit will not be- disconnected "as lng as it (repairs) continues in this vein.» Lat month Young sent a let- ter te, the owner, mortgage hol- dersand tenants of the. Dundas St. E. park. Citing 14 diffrent instances of defective wiring, Young said he would ask Hydro's central region office for permission to, discon- nect power if' repairs were not substantially completed by April 2. If permission was ,.,granted, electricity.would have bèen tur- ned off May 7. Doug Huggins, the latest regis- tered owner, was prosecuted under the Power Corporation Act last year -and fined, but repairs were not made.
