Lino of Dîmes will provide an opportunity for the community ta, put their donations on the lino, which wiII be constructed in front of the Madison'a store in the Oshawa Centre. Individuals, families, and businesses are asked ta collect their dimedidonations qnd bring tbem ta the Oshawa Centre so they may add ta the Lino of Dîmes. Volunteers and staff will be prosont throughout the day (9:30 arn. ta 9:30 p.m.) ta answer questions about the Ontario March of Dîmes and ta collect donations. Ho was 77. Ho was born in Pickering on November 24, 1913, son of Car- otta (Parsons) and Lorne Puck- rin. He lived in Pickering Town- ship for 20 years and married Beatrice Edna Greenlaw on August 30, 1933. They moved ta Whitby where they lived together for 57 years. Mr. Puckrin worked as a truck driver for Roblin's Creainery for 10 years, and later sold life insurance for Empire Life. He was a salesman for Canada Bread and Wonder Bread, and worked at Generalz-Motors in Oshawa. Ho was the express agent for the Canadian Pacific Railway in Whitby for many years. Ho was a partner in T. Puckrin & Son Waste Dispoai. Ho eased out of the business after it was sold in 1984. Wihile retired ho enjoyed gar- dening, piaying cards, attending church suppers, woodcarving and visiting wxthfriends. Ho is survived by his wife, son Douglas and bis wife Nora, daughter Barbara and ber bus- band James Sleep, and daughter Bety grandchildren Wendy, LidBannie, James, Blaine and Bristol, great-grandchildren Danielle abd Alex. He is also survived by bis brothers John and Herb and sisters Mrs. Florence Pettit, Mrs. Ama Mary Palmer and Mrs. LI-rno Mesher. Ho was predeceased by bis twin brother Lewis and sister Susie Pueki-in. LRv. W.J.S. McClure of Whitby conducted the funeral service on Saturday, Noveinber 10, 1990. Ho was born in Kensington, London, England on Septemnber 2 1? 1925, son of Harry Evered Willis and Elsie Eleanor (Covilie) Willis. Ho married Mavis O'Connor on December 24, 1949, at Bronley, Kent, Engiand. Mr. WiÎllis was a resident of Whiltby for the pastfive years. He served in the RAF during World War II and with the RCAF from 1956 ta 1975. Ho was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Hoe is survived by his mother, brothers Harry, Peter, Alexander and Frank, and sisters Mabel Dalton and Elsie Wells, all of- England, and his wife. Ho was predeceased by his father. The funeral service was held on November 26, 1990, from the Town Funeral Chapel, conducted b;y Padre Bob Mansfield. Crema- tion -fallowed.
