A]fred Mannings worked for the Canadian War Recrods Office in World War I. *Ainong. their Canadian colleagues are the familiar names of A. Y. Jackson, Arthur ià smner, David Milne'and Frederick Varley. They are ail represented in the exhibition, together with such noted contemporary Canadiens, who were official war artists in World War II, as Bruno and Molly Bobak, Pegi Nicol MacLeodi Alex Colville, Charles Comfort and Carl Schaefer.
