The fast-paced gaine against Pickering endad in a tie, with each team scoring one goal. Evan Kitamura, assisted by Billy Duncan, scored for Whitby. The next day in Peterborough Whitby played a tough game against Peterborough, losing 5-0. Whitby is Iooking forward to playing the M at home next time, and turning the score around. Whitby -played in the Belleville tournament which began on Jan. 12. The firet gaine was an exciting one against the wel-matched teani from North London, but ended in a 2-0 loss for Whitby. The next day Whitby played a superb gaine aganst Bowmanville and were leading 3-2 until the last 30, seconds of the gaine, when Bowmanville scored to tie it up. Goals were scored by Joshua Huether (2) and Tanner Westfall, with assists by Kyle Irnrie, Randy Davidson, Andrew Shannon, Evan Kitamura and Wesley Suddons. Whitby scored a 2-1 victory over Hamilton in the third game of the tournament. At the Great Lake Festival Jan. 19-21, Foster won gold in the junior and senior bronze compulsories, and in the juvenile free skate. She picked up a bronze in the- pre-novice free skate.
