"We wanted to stick to aur game plan, which was ta try and antagonize them ( Eastdale) with some heavy hitting and fore- checking,» said Rick White, coach of the teain. He added that Kevin Thrasher was brilliant in net and victory would have been difficult, without his outstanding performance. Anderson jumped off to an early lead on a pair of goals, one fromi Dan Ruddock and the other from Steve Wing. They showed, plnty of, spunk in the flrst, lig Eastale ta a few shots and keig them on their heels with soe slid checks. "We have a talented teani, especially aur offence. They seem to be too patent for other teanis to handle", said coach Jan Bates. Dave Mudge, Paul Prior, ohn Hopkins and Johnston are the strong front four, while a com- pact John Knight makes up for bis size with great bail co ntrol. "John (Kmight) is the spark- plug that seems ta motivate the rest of the teant, which i return roduces big points", added Matt Cook was the workharse frthe juniors, but even bis 10 points couldn't help Henry avoid their first loss, 78-59 to Ajax.
