The party, for children 3 - 10 years, wxll be held fr-om 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The cost is $2 per child and will be collected at the auditorium door. Pre-register at the children's department in the Whitby Public Library. Spase is limited, so register early. HISTORICAL WALAKING TOUR On Dec. 14, join Brian Winter, Whitbys archivist, for an erjoyable tour through time in downtown Whitby. Citizens are asked to bring along their flash]ights and to dress warmly. The tour will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Brock St. SiDundas St. E., across the street from the Bank of Montreal. Refreshuients will be available at the end of the tour. CLARA AND THE NUTCRACKER PRODUCTION On Dec. 15 and 16, the award- winning Studio of Dance and Pefoznng Arts will be .perforing the Cistas story. e ormances will be held at the Studio of Dance and Performing Arts, located at 307 Brock St. N., on Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. aud 8:30 p.m. and on Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. COSTUME CHARACTERS During Saturday Dec. 9, 16 or 23, you will find Rudolph, Frosty or a Penguin roaming the downtown. Bring a camera if you wish a keepsake photograph. TREE 0F HOPE DAY Christmas is a tiine to help those who are lesa fortunate. Corne Downtown December 9th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 pan. and donate generously to the charity of your choice. Your donation will be represented by a colored Christmas light on the Tree of Hope, located at the Whitby Public Library. Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer will also be stroling around the downtown to meet the public. CHAIRISMA MAGIC SHOW Viit the captivating magic act on Saturday, Dec. 16. The show, which includes doves, rabbits and so much more, will begin at 10:30 Tickets are available for $3 each at the Studio of Dance and Perforniing Arts and at Promenade Books in Pearson Lanes.
