"It was an overall eani effort,». said Anderson coach Barb Dillon, noting that the school placed in the top four in ail six divisions of competition. The entire Anderson teami will compete in the Durham-York Secondary School Athletic Asso- ciation (DYSSAA) championships today (Wednesday) at the Boyd Conservation Area. In the LOSSA competition, held at Dagmar Ski Resort Jason Clayton was first and Dave Inshaw was fourth to help Anderson's. place second overaîl in the junior boys' comipetition, which covered a distance of 6,800 metres. Shawn Snyder, Corey Sr her and Jerem y Ford were aiomembers of t he Anderson junior teani. Joanne Hood was second and Sylvia Watson eighth to. pace Anderson to second place in the senior girls' teamn com petition, which covered 5,000m. Suzanne Perroni and Jennifer Rloy were also members of the teani. Also second overaîl was Ander- son's senior boys' team. Dave Bailey of Anderson was third in individual competition and Ste- fan Timnis ninth over the 7,750m distance. Other teani members were Aaron Timnis, Steve Miller and Dan Clark. Penny Santiago was fourth and Jennifer Ellis f»ifth to steer Anderson's midget girls' teani to second place. Tara Carroll, Ste- p hanie Duffy, Kelly Price and Saley Peel were also on the Anderson team in the cross coun- try race which eovered 3,250m. Amanda Miles-Berry was fifth and Angela Miles-Berry sixth as Anderson's junior girls' teani was tliird overail among high schools. Maureen Quinlan, Ti;ffany Slugg aiid Debbie Warren were also niembers of the team which ran 3,800M. e Anderson's midget boys' team was fourth overall in the 5000rn distance.
