The team bosted a tournament at the Ajax community centre on the weel<end losing to a teami froni England, 4-3 in overtime, in the final. One of the top players for the Ontario team is Anne Windover, 15, of Whitby. It is her fourth year on an Ontario teani. Taîl, fast and dominant as an attacker, Windover bas played box lacrosse in the Whitby sys- tem since she was 6, and earlier this year led Denis O'Connor bigh scbool to the Ontario cham- pionship. Sbe has watcbed the Canadian women's teami work out, and may try for a spot on the team. in 1992. Ontario team goalie Julie Norton is on the Canadian teami that is composed mostly of players from British Columbia, current national champions.
