Durhami Association for Famidly. Respite Services is a conxmunity- based, non-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. The prograni provides short-term respite for familles in Durhamn Region who are caririg of home for a developmentally or physically handicapped member. The volunteers generously open thefr homes to these handicapped individuals to give the families a break from the constant cars that is often required.
