TRIBUTE TO CHAPLIN Eric James, who first met and worked for Charlie Chaplin in 1956 and as a result of that meeting became his sole music associate until Chaplin's death in 1977, will be at the Whitby Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 7 p.m. James has a wealth of stories and anecdotes to tell and gives an intimate and hitherto untold glimpse of the man him- self. The presentation is inter- spersed with music, film and songs, sung by Eric's wife and partner, Phyllis O'Reilly, whose mndividual style and vocal talents were alwas greatly admired by Chaplin.
