Frec Press photo I, Mark K Flewwelling, place my name before you the Citizens, as a candidate for Trustee - Durham Board of Education on November 14th, 1988. My decision to run for Trustee is based upon the following: A) I am concerned for our school system and our children's education. The control over the financing of our childrens education is a business, however it is a business of social implications and must be governed accordingly. B) It is time Whitby Council and the Durham Board of Education worked together on Education and Safety Issues, rather than independant parties. C) Our children are tomorrow's citizens. We owe them the best so that they may be able to live with and pass on our values. Given my 13 years administrative business experience coupled with my involvement in educational issues during our years in Whitby, most specifically, • past Chairman of Palmerston Avenue Parents Advisory Committee • Co-founder / past Vice President of the Education Action Committee I believe I can deliver on the needs of today's children and Education issues. On November 14th, 1988, please vote Mark Flewwelling as your Whitby Durham Board of Education Trustee. Put DEDICATION and EXPERIENCE to work for our children. Mark K.
