"Here is some hot soup" said Mrs. Claus. Santa didn't say anything instead he just blew his nose like a trumpet. He started to get up but Mrs. Claus didn't let him s0 he ate his soup. The next day Santa got millions of letters from children. Santa asked Mrs. Claus to send them back because his eold was worse and it was only two days before Christmas. So he called the elves and told them that there wasn't going to be a Christmas. So the elves covered up the toys and packed the reindeer away. Santa climbed back into bed and said "I'm sure going to miss alI those children." Then Mrs. Claus sent another letter to the children asking them to make presents and send them to Santa. On the day before Christmas Santa received the presents and Mrs. Claus said "Since you couldn't bring Christ- mas to the children they brought it to you and are giving you a holiday." Santa sat for a moment and said "A holiday. Neyer. Feed the reindeer. Get me my coat. Hit- ch up the sleigh and get the toys ready because tonight we fly. Christopher Broad Gr 4, E.A.
