Since my parents are divorced it's a little hard and confusing because -I have to go to my dad's, my dad's parents, my stepmother's parents, my step- father's parents and my mom's parents. Sometimes I'm sort of glad because I get more presents but as my mom always says, "let's not be greedy now. " But sometimes I'm not s0 glad because it's s0 con- fusing going from place to place. My whole family is pretty big as you can see but they're all really nice! Sometimes I wish 1 could have a normal Christmas like everyone else but I guess that will neyer happen. There is an elf that I like most. His name is Elmer the elf, and he said, "Gee, we don't get to take a break anymore and I am sick of I agmee. We don't get much time off." said another elf . It was two months before Christmas would come and they were wokmng ail day and ail night. The next morning ail the elves were so each and everyone of them went and asked for shifts Santa said, "Nothing of the sort will take place! " The elves got together and said, "We are going on strike! " When Santa came in to put the Christmas tree up there were no elves. Santa said, "It's probably snack time." The next morning Mrs. Claus came in to put some decomations on the tmee and while she was at it she went in the workshop to gather up the toys but there were no toys to collect. It was the night before Christmas and there was not a soul in the shop. Santa gave up so he put on the loud speakers, "Ahl the elves have a one hour shift, so get stamted or theme won't be a Christmas." Ail the elves gathered and each took a shift and Santa got to deliver his gîfts and thats how it ail started with an elf named Elmer the Elf.
