The anniversary show will be held at the Whitby Curling Club and is a jointly sponsored concert by the singers; Whitby General Hospital Auxiliary, the hospital board of directors and Whitby Curling Club. Funds raised are to be donated to the physiotherapy departmnent of Whitby Genieral Hospital. Sandra Cartwright, of Port Perry, is deputy treasurer of the Town of Whitby. Cartwright has held numerous executive positions with the Certified General Accountants Association (Oshawa chapter) and is a mem- ber of the Ontario professional developmnent committee of the Certified Genèral Accoun- tants Association. Before accepting the position on the board, Cartwright was in- volved with the Durham College accounting advisory committee. Allan Madden, another Port Perry resident and chairman of the skilled trades, Local 222, is a graduate of the Durham College In- dustrial Mechanics course. Allan has held executive positions on the GM-CAW appren- tice comrnîttee and is a past director on the board of the Pickering, Community Centre. Madden is a member of the provincial ad- visory committee and industrial millwright committee. Before acceptmng his position on the board, Madden was active with the Durhami College curriculum committee for pre-apprenticeslUP training programs. Tracy Vaughan, a resident of Oshawa, is product manager and marketing consultant for Dennison Manufactguring in Bowman- ville. Vaughan is a graduate of the Durham College business administration .- marketing course and is a member of thç Durham Region Manufacturer'5 Association and the American Marketing Association. ~ The board of governors is composed .of 12 appointed members who represent the com- mumity. The term of office is three years and no member can serve for more than six con- tinuous years.
