Whitby lost 2-0 in their Tourney at ACYT By vMICHAEL LAPLANTE Eastdale, Dunbarton and Anderson, high sehoolÉ came together Jan. 6 for a girl's, voileybail mini tour- nament hosted by An- derson CVI. Anderson's midget team lost to Dunbarton but won over Eastdale. ACVI's junior team was defeated after a close match-up with Dunbarton. .They split with Eastdàle, each tqam winning one game, but were defeated in the tie-breaker. The seniors lost aaist Dunbarton. They played to a tie against Eastdale with Eastdale winning the final game. The teams wil not be playing any further league games until Feb. 4; however, they will be involved in several tournaments. The An- derson junior girl's volleyball team will be playing in a tournamxent at Pickeringon Jan. 17; the seniors play at Pickering on Jan. 31. "AlUthough we got off to a slow start we hope to peak ini February when it is most impor- tant. We have the potential to do well at LOSSA, which is in late February," Mariette Rozon, girl's volleyball coach, says.
