In sports, DO'C has been very busy. Our midget, girls volleyball teain par- ticipated in the annual Harwood valleyball tournament on Dec. 13. They defeated Paul, Dwyer handily in two straight gaines, then lost ta a strang Ajax High teain. The teain then split twa gaines with Harwood and last twa gaine& against Anderson. With- their points the girls made the semi-finals but lost ta a strang Anderson teain, The girls defeated Ajax in a fight for third. On Dec. 15 aurý junior and midget boys basketball teains won theirleague gaines against Brack igh School. Our juniors wan with a strong defensive effort by a score of 45- 31. Scarers were Paul Peschisalido with 10, Sean Vegter with 10, Scott Sherlock netting 6 and Roberto Buque sinking 6. Our midgetis played a great gaine with a final of 44-37. High scarers was Steve Barich with 15 poin-,, nts. Scatt Sawyer and Paul Vorstadt bath scored 10 points. On Dec. 16 aur hockey teain defeated a weak Vanier teain by a score of 15-1. Scorers were Tain Toma, Kelly O'Connor, Dan O'Connor, Rob Buske and Jamie Laprairie. Kurt Vaskow, Tam Devereaux, Dain Andrews and Chris Mealing ail added with singles. The rest of the teain played an extrernely well discîplined gaine though there was not inuch of a challenge for thein. On the saine day, aur junior girls volleybal tearn opened their season by winning bath their gaines. They defeated Vanier and Har- wood in two straight gaines. Our midget girls' aplit their first two gaines by . defeating Vanier but lasing ta Harwaod.
